WOW GUYS, I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE LAST YEAR.
Seriously though, this post will be a non-concise update on what is going on with this website. First off, I changed the website name to Kad Comics (it used to be Kad Studios), as it sounds less pretentious and doesn't resemble another websites name. I have also overhauled my character design for my avatar, which you can read more about on my art page. Also, I am now going to be posting each panel of Heroes Co. as I make it, as this allows for more regular updates and keeps me motivated. Okay, now onto the question my entire MASSIVE FANBASE (I'm being sarcastic, if you couldn't tell) is asking me. WHY IS THE NEXT COMIC TAKING SO GOSH DARN LONG? Simply put, my file got corrupted and all my progress got deleted. After getting over how frustrated I was (I know they may not look like much, but I do spend hours working on them), I have started redoing the comic, with the mission of making it look even better then before. I have already started, and have posted three panels of it here. As I already said, I will be posting each panel as I make it, so look out for my next few panels very soon (a couple of years being a rough estimate). That's about all I have to say. Okay, I know it has been a semi-long time since I released a new 'issue' of Heroes Co., but I HAVE made lots of progress on my latest comic. It's just taking FOREVER to draw. But, because I love my non-existent fanbase, I have pictures of my progress, so you can rest assured that I am dead only inside. Thank me later! ... and that's all I'm willing to show.
Hello! This is just a quick update on what is currently happening and some new ideas. In between main Heroes Co. comics, I will be uploading 'Co. Cards', fact files of various heroes and teams all situated in the world of Heroes Co. The one I am working on is about a team called The Seven Deadly Sins, and is based off a drawing my friend, HoopNoop, sent me: But I am stuck with a dilemma. My comics page (which is currently empty) was originally meant for short, random comics much like BurritoShake and IceCreamSandwich Comics commonly do, with my avatar character. But if I start doing that, this would mean half the time to work on Heroes Co.
So what would you guys rather? More Heroes Co., or short, random comics with less Heroes Co? Please comment down below your opinion! The first Heroes Co. comic has already been posted, and before I begin a part two of the introductory comic, I would like to post something else to break it up, y'know? To add a bit of variety. So, dear reader, comment below what you would prefer to see first: a short gag comic, which I will be doing in between story-beats, or a short trivia comic, another way break up the story. Comment below what you would prefer!
Oh yeah! My progress! I have begun animating a short intro for my animated episodes, which I will be working on for a while along side comics. So... Heroes Co.
What is it? The world of Heroes Co. is, simply put, a parody. A parody of superheroes, films, common overused tropes, you name it. A team of superheroes, name the Vengfuls, work for the business Heroes Co., a corporation with a secret base located underneath a ball-pit. I'm not going to spoil anything more about the story, but you might be wondering, what form of media is it? Heroes Co. will take two main forms; a animated comic, also known as a 'animatic', or a short episodic comic. I have almost finished the first animated comic, but will likely post a comic introducing the world before then. Okay, that's all! See ya next week! I will be updating my progress on various content I will be making through is update page. It will be styled in a blog-type format and I will aim to update it at least once a fortnight, so look forward to that! I might also post art and drawings, or whatever is on my mind: basically anything I want!
